We Believe: 1. In the Bible as the fully inspired Word of God and as our ultimate rule of faith and practice, complete and sufficient in all aspects of faith. (II Timothy 3:16,17; II Peter 1:21)
2. In one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect, infinitely sovereign, and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, 26; Matthew 28:19; John 1:3; Ephesians 1:11; 3:11)
3. In the deity, virgin birth, substitutionary atonement, bodily resurrection, and second coming of Jesus Christ, very God and very man. (John 1:1, 2, 14,15; I Corinthians 15:3,4; I Thessalonians 4:13-17; Luke 1:26-33)
4. In the personality and work of the Holy Spirit, by whom men are regenerated, brought to repentance and faith, and by whom we are sealed until the day of redemption. (John 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:16; Ephesians 1:13,14; Titus 3:5)
5. In the sinfulness of man. That all human beings are born with a sinful nature are totally depraved and in need of a Savior from sin (The Christ, Jesus). (Romans 3:10-18,23; I John 1:8-10)
6. In the necessity of the new birth. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, and not of works. Saving faith will maintain good works and holy living in the life of the believer. (John 6:37-47; Romans 3:28-30; Ephesians 2:8,9; Philippians 2:12,13)
7. In the eternal security of the believer. Just as we are saved by grace, we are kept by grace. (John 6:37-47; John 10:22-30; Ephesians 1:13,14; Romans 8:35-39)
8. In the bodily resurrection of saints unto immortality and incorruption at the return of Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 15:51-57; I Thessalonians 4:13-17)
9. In the eternal conscious existence and punishment of the unbeliever. (Matthew 25:46; John 5:28,29; Revelation 20:11-15)
10. In the eternal life and blessedness of those who are justified in Christ. (John 5:24; Romans 5:21; Ephesians 1:3)
11. In the reality and personality of Satan. (Isaiah 14:12-17; Ezekiel 28:11-19; I Peter 5:8,9)
12. In the church in its local aspect as the body of believers and in its general aspects as the body of Christ, whose duty is to observe the ordinances, to edify one another, and to evangelize the world. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:41,42; I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 5:18-21; Hebrews 10:25)
13. That water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the church. They are not to be regarded as a means of salvation or regenerative in nature. We prefer baptism by immersion, but recognize other modes of believer’s baptism, at the discretion of the Pastoral Board. (Matthew 26:26-28; Matthew 28:19,20; Acts 2:32-38; Acts 8:35-40; I Corinthians 11:23-30)
14. That God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman and that any form of homosexuality, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. The only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. Anyone practicing these afore mentioned sins will not be considered for leadership in this church. (Genesis. 2:24; 19:5, 13; 26:8,9; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26- 29;7:2; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:9; 7:10; Ephesians 5:22,23; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8; Hebrews 13:4)
15. In the sanctity and value of life and that life begins at conception; therefore, we oppose abortion and euthanasia. (Psalms 139:14-16; Isaiah 44:24; 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5)
